How we handle your data.
COGEXT is a developer infrastructure product currently in pre-launch. This page explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We aim for the shortest, most honest version possible.
Short version: We collect your email when you join the waitlist. We use it to email you about COGEXT updates and early access. We don't sell it. You can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. What we collect

- Email address — when you submit the waitlist form on this site
- Messages — if you email us directly at hello@cogextai.com
Information collected automatically
- Server logs — your IP address, browser type, and pages visited (standard web request logs)
- Cloudflare — our site is served through Cloudflare, which may collect basic traffic information for security and performance. See Cloudflare's privacy policy
- Formspree — waitlist email submissions are processed by Formspree. See Formspree's privacy policy
2. How we use your data
- To send you updates about COGEXT's launch and early access
- To respond when you contact us
- To understand traffic patterns and improve the site
- To prevent abuse and secure our infrastructure
We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to train AI models.
3. Where your data lives
Your email is stored by Formspree (US-based) for waitlist purposes. Server-side processing happens on infrastructure in India and the US. Cloudflare's global network may temporarily cache or proxy your requests for performance reasons.
4. How long we keep it
We keep your waitlist email until either (a) COGEXT launches and you become a user, (b) you ask us to delete it, or (c) two years pass with no activity.
5. Your rights
You can:
- Ask us what information we have about you
- Ask us to correct or update it
- Ask us to delete it
- Withdraw consent and unsubscribe at any time

6. Children
COGEXT is a developer tool not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted information, email us and we'll delete it.
7. Cookies
This site uses minimal cookies. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers. Cloudflare may set essential cookies for security and bot protection.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as COGEXT evolves. Material changes will be communicated by email to waitlist subscribers and reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
